What is a Psychic?

Psychics 'feel' things that cannot be sensed through the usual physical senses of hearing, touch, sight, taste or smell. Commonly called a "sixth sense" sometimes , "extra sensory perception" (ESP) or simply "intuition", psychic have a innate ability to perceive things that the rest of us can't. There are several types of psychic abilities many akin to seeing, hearing and feeling.

Many distinguish between psychic and clairvoyants in that psychics do not connect to spirit or 'see' people that have passed. A clairvoyant may be psychic but a psychic is not necessarily clairvoyant. Nowadays the term psychic is often used to cover both psychics and clairvoyant mediums.
