Gay is 52 years old,  a teacher by profession, computing, finance and business studies, and she semi-retired a few years ago due to illness. 

Although her mother was an excellent medium, Gay, with a busy career, chose not to exercise her talents as a Medium until late on in life and as a Psychic Artist later still.

Married to Dave with 2 step children, Lisa and Lee and 3 grandchildren, Immy, Logan and Luke, Spiritualism, whilst ever present in Gay's life, took a back seat until eventually a big push from Spirit changed her chosen path.

Her teaching career was quite varied.  Having had a fairly traditional 20 year career in computing, (programming, systems analysis, project management, consultancy), she switched to teaching at the age of 37, first lecturing at Cornwall College to adults and later teaching Special Needs teenagers in Birmingham. From this came a strong belief that most people can achieve whatever they set out to achieve, provided they have the proper support and encouragement.

 After developing an illness, ME,  in 1997, Gay eventually gave up work.  After frequent relapses of chronic fatigue, she eventually retrained as Swimming Instructor with the idea of pursuing this a profession once cured.
