Astral Projection
In astral projection the conscious mind leaves the physical body and moves into
the astral body and journeys through the astral plane. The astral body is one of our subtle bodies. All of us have
experienced Astral Projection, whether or not realise it. A better known term is is Out of Body
or OBE.

Astral Travel is very different to normal dreaming. It is an
extraordinary experience. All who have experienced it can testify to its
lucidity and magical quality.
Reality is created by thought projection (consciousness) into the physical.
There are 5 subtle bodies In astral projection the conscious mind leaves the
physical body and moves into the astral body to experience. In astral projection
you remain attached to your physical body by a 'silver umbilical type cord'.
Some people are able to see the cord when astral projecting. To astral project,
as with all out-of-body experiences, one must feel totally relaxed, clothing
fitting comfortable, reclining is best.
It is
interesting that conscious Astral Travel is experienced as clearly as we
experience our daily life. In fact, it is even experienced more clearly
at times: our senses seem sharper and the environment somehow more real.
While
working on developing your Astral skills, it is important to choose a
place and time where you will not be disturbed. Normally if you are
interrupted during a flight, your spirit self will automatically and
immediately return to your physical body. It is somewhat of a shock to
the system to get snapped back to consciousness in the middle of a
journey, so pick a place and time where you can be undisturbed. If you
choose to Project while others are in the house, it is a good idea to
let them know what you are doing, so if they encounter you in this
state, they will not become too concerned. In answer to the many
questions I receive on the topic of returning to your body, the answer
is quite simple. All you must do is will yourself to return and it
happens.
